This course tackles one aspect of the numerous things that can lead to your success on instagram. It is not a shortcut to gaining 1000 followers. It is not the new and trending stuff. You're about to learn something I've used for 2 years and still using.At the end of this masterclass, you will approach instagram like this guy;

Let's make a case...

Peter has 0 followers and Jane has 2,000 followers.
Peter has 0 followers because he is unknown by many people in real life and on the internet. Jane is popular in real life and has many friends. Her friends looked out for and connected with her digitally.
If both Peter and Jane post content on instagram, Jane has audience that will see her post but Peter on the other hand is handicapped.There must be a fair ground so that Peter's content will reach people he has no access to. The platform should have something that Peter can leverage to build his online presence.One option is to run Ads. The other is organic reach by the "algorithm".
Peter is broke so he chooses organic reach. And...

Actually, I placed myself in Peter's shoes when I started Creators Vitamin on instagram. I relied only on hashtags and good content as a means to grow the account. This is the analytics for my first post when I had zero followers.

At the time of writing, I have generated more than 200,000 traffic for my content using hashtags and have 33,000+ followers.

I will teach you the hashtag mental models that have partly influenced the growth of the account.Let's dive in!


1 - The strategy

We'll use an experiment-first approach. There is no one size fits all. This process will help you find hashtags specific to what you do;

  • Look for potentially good hashtags based on certain traits

  • Test them to find which ones are actually good

  • Eliminate bad ones

  • Repeat the process to find more good hashtags

Iterate frequently to find stable sets of hashtags that fetch you significant traffic (usually close to 50% of your total traffic). After finding those sets, you alternate and repeat them for all subsequent posts. You don't have to find newer hashtags again.When starting out, getting traffic that is similar to the image below is a good signal. As you keep repeating those same hashtags, the traffic will build up into the 1000s.

Time is not a factor in this regard. What matters is the number of iterations. Frequent iterations means you'll find stable hashtags faster. After seeing the early signs, the next most helpful thing is to get better at creating valuable content.Good hashtags + Valuable content = More resonance
